Resources and Needs
Since its humble
beginning in 1966, Edgewood's program has expanded so that today the actual
monthly cost to house, educate and counsel each student exceeds $1300. Parents
pay what they can afford, often only $100 or less per month. Funding and gifts
in kind from individual donations, foundations, churches and corporations must
make up the balance.
Edgewood Children's Ranch is a registered charity, making donations
tax-deductible. Yet the Ranch does not accept Federal or State money, since
that would require departure from Christian principles, so important to the
healing process.

It is hoped that in the
near future supporters will enable the updating of buildings, many of which are
over thirty years old. The Ranch would like to replace doors, windows and
furniture in the cottages and school and install new lights in key areas. Other
needs include replacing faucets, sinks, toilets and urinals, and replacing the
tile and carpet in cottage living quarters and the school. New social services
and parenting facilities are also high on their ever-growing
wishes-and-needs list.

There are many ways in which you or your
organization can help support this important mission. Various planned giving
opportunities, such as bequests and charitable trusts, can make a difference in
the lives of children - even for generations to come. Contact us to learn more.

Above all, please include Edgewood Ranch in your
prayers.
And may God bless you.
